Mayday Parade have released another new track from their upcoming record “Sunnyland”.
The band will be releasing this record on the 15th of June via Rise Records.

The new track released on the 31st of May, with a music video accompanying the new track released earlier today (June 1st). The new track is titled “It’s Hard To Be Religious When Certain People Are Never Incinerated By Bolts Of Lighting” and yes it really is a Mayday Parade track. No Panic! At The Disco or Fall Out Boy involved here.

About the lyrical content of the new track, frontman Derek Sanders told Billboard the following:
“I would say it’s a little bit more angry than anything we’ve done before. I wrote it shortly after the 2016 presidential election, when Trump won. I was just kind of horrified something like that was even possible – not that it’s all directed towards him, necessarily, but that’s kind of the mindset I was in. However, it’s not all dark. There is, at least to me, a hopeful outlook towards the future and trying to appreciate what we have.”

The new track is already the 3rd track released from the upcoming record and the music video for the track can be checked out below!
