A Marvel fan, user CaptainKyloStark on Reddit, has shared a “Avengers: Endgame” fan theory.

The fan thinks that the movie will feature alternate realities, using the Butterfly Effect, meaning that different outcomes are possible if only the tiniest thing is different as well.

The user compares it to Netflix’ first “Black Mirror” movie “Bandersnatch”, which was also Netflix’ first interactive movie.

The viewers are able to make choices during the movie, determining what happens next. If you would have made a different choice, it would have had a different outcome.

“It’s still ‘our universe’ or ‘our dimension,’ the user says of the theory. “Nothing like the Mirror Dimension or Dark Dimension that we saw in Doctor Strange, which is something entirely different. I’m talking about different outcomes of our own universe split off into different outcomes based on different events. Did you watch Bandersnatch? Same thing.”

Watch the full post about the theory here.

“Avengers: Endgame” is coming out on April 26th so we won’t have to wait that long to see if CaptainKyloStark is right.
