Lorde was unfortunately unable to sign at this year’s VMAs due to the singer/songwriter battling with a pretty bad case of the flu, but however, did manage to give one hell of a show.

Despite the lack of singing, Lorde came on stage to perform her track “Homemade Dynamite”, taken from the singer’s sophomore record “Melodrama” which released earlier this year.

Lorde practiced the choreography back in New Zealand and flew to California for the awardshow despite her illness because she didn’t want to let anyone down.

Turns out not even a bad case of the flu can make Lorde cancel an appearance.

Check out her “Homemade Dynamite” performance below!
