Everyone’s opinions differ and what one might find very disturbing is just a normal Tuesday to another.
So when you ask people “what do you find the scariest movie of all time?” or even of this year, you will get a lot of different answers.

Now, it has been scientifically proven what the scariest movie of 2018 was (how do they even do that while the year is not even over?).

The company behind this year’s “Hereditary” made a random selection of horror fans with Apple Watches to monitor their reactions and heart rates during the movie.

What they found was that the heart rates raised to an alarming 164 bpm, (“normal” is between 60 and 80 beats per minute).

You can check out 5 of the monitored reactions below.

So if you like jumpscares and horrific images, the movie is only still in a few theaters so be quick if you don’t want to wait for the DVD to come out.
