Gerard Way Releases New Track Featuring Ray Toro

Gerard Way released a new track today which features his former bandmate, Ray Toro.

The track is a cover of ‘Hazy Shade of Winter’ by The Bangles and is to be featured in The Umbrella Academy, which will be premiered February 15th of this year.

It’s an exciting track that raises anticipation with a mix of what sounds like classical ‘movie music’ that sets the scene and atmosphere  of the story, and a gritty punky sound that fits with the unique outsider characters of the series. They did a fantastic job with this one.
