Last weekend, Creeper have wrapped up their Theater of Fear tour through the UK, one of their last stops being Manchester on Saturday.

During the show, somebody in the audience yelled out an inapproriate comment towards their singer and keyboarder Hannah Greenwood.

Guitarist Oliver Burdett posted a statement about the incident the day after the show:

Hannah Greenwood herself also tweeted out about it, saying that this behaviour is completetly inacceptable as the band’s live shows are “safe places where nobody should be made to feel uncomfortable, on or off stage.”

A fan who was at the show as well explained that multiple people around the person making the comment instantly took action by calling him out and pouring water over his head, which Hannah quoted with the words: “This is fantastic. So lovely to know the cult have my back.”

You can read Hannah’s full statement below.
