Concerts are supposed to be (and are in most cases) a safe place, yet sometimes it can happen that people get hurt, for a variety of reasons, many of them unintentional and/or not anyone’s fault.

When that happens, it is always important for everyone in the room including the band to react well and make sure that the person in question is safe, which is exactly what happened at a Stone Sour show in Sydney.

Towards the end of the set, during the track “Gone Sovereign”, frontman Corey Taylor stops singing mid-song, the other band members following instantly.

Right after, Taylor leaves the stage and comes back, explaining that there is a medicial issue at hand and asking the crowd to “make room for the professionals”. He repeatedly assures himself that the injured fan is okay before continuing the show with the next song.

We love Corey Taylor and hope that you all stay safe during concerts you attend and that if anything happens, the band and the crowd are as amazing, caring and helpful as in this case.

You can check out the footage from the incident below.
