Post-hardcore band Being As An Ocean have announced they have bought out their contract and are now releasing music independently.

The band, who were previously signed to Equal Vision, had earlier announced an album titled ‘Waiting For Morning To Come,’ but did not meet the initial release date of June 9, 2017.

The band turned to Twitter to confirm their independency by saying, “Alright, we bought out our own contract. Being As An Ocean is now an independent band.

“Thorns on Friday. Black & Blue a week after. Let’s go.”

What an exciting time ahead for the band! Let us what you think of their new direction!
