Armstrongs (Green Day, SWMRS, Rancid) Release New Single

Armstrongs is the name of a punk rock side project by Green Day frontman Billie Joe, SWMRS drummer Joey, Rancid’s Tim and Rey Armstrong, which, if we’re being honest, already sounds awesome enough. To top it all off, the first ever Armstrongs song is out!

The track is called “If There Was Ever A Time” and its proceeds will entirely go to 924 Gilman which is a nonprofit and all-ages venue for music, art, and community events in Berkeley, California.

“If There Was Ever A Time” was also featured in a punk rock documentary called “Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk”, produced by Green Day.

While the song is only available on YouTube for now, it will officially release everywhere on July 28th.
