A while back, Evanescence singer Amy Lee had been sued by her former management company, 110 Management, who claimed she owed them “unpaid commissions and fees”, but eventually lowered their demand from $1.5 million to $335,000. Later, an arbitrator decided that the actual amount Lee owed was $4,863.66.
Now earlier this year, the singer went to court asking for 110 to pay for her attorney fees that came up throughout the lawsuit. Her request was granted and according to TMZ, Lee was awarded $1,036,733.68.
However, most of the money will go right back into legal expenses, as there are $885,000 worth of attorney fees and another $72,000 to cover an expert witness and other administrative costs.
