‘Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey 2’ Promises Bigger, Bloodier Sequel

Fans of the twisted take on a beloved childhood character, Winnie the Pooh, can rejoice as Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 is officially in the works. Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who helmed the first installment, revealed exciting details about the sequel in a recent interview with Variety.

The budget for the sequel has increased substantially, providing more room for carnage and chaos. Frake-Waterfield mentioned that the sequel’s budget is “over 10 times” the first film’s budget, allowing for more creative and gruesome scenes. In fact, the sequel boasts over 30 deaths, a significant increase from the first film, as well as a variety of massacres and innovative kills.

Winnie the Pooh will have a signature weapon in this installment: a terrifying bear trap, which aligns with his character’s dark transformation. Frake-Waterfield promised thrilling set pieces and a particularly wild sequence that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats.

Notably, the sequel will feature Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger, but with “new creature designs, a new cast, and a high death count.” This time, the gang will take their blood-soaked mayhem to the quiet community of Ashdown, leaving the 100 Acre Wood behind.

The cast includes Tallulah Evans, Scott Chambers as Christopher Robin, Ryan Oliva as Winnie-the-Pooh, and Peter DeSouza-Feighoney as Young Pooh. The screenplay for this macabre sequel was penned by Matt Leslie.

Prepare for a bloodier and more intense Winnie the Pooh experience in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2.
