Lana Del Rey Announces Surprise Shows Surrounding BST Hyde Park Performance

Lana Del Rey, the renowned American singer-songwriter, has delighted her fans with a series of surprise European shows surrounding her highly anticipated headline slot at BST Hyde Park next month. The talented artist recently mesmerized audiences as she topped the bill on Glastonbury’s Other Stage, and now she’s set to conclude the 2023 edition of the AEG-promoted London concert series on Sunday, July 9. In addition to her sold-out performance at Hyde Park, Del Rey has announced a string of additional shows across Europe at short notice, much to the delight of her dedicated fanbase.

The 38-year-old songstress will first grace the stage at Italy’s La Prima Estate festival on July 2, where fans can expect an unforgettable performance filled with her signature style and captivating vocals. Following this, Del Rey will continue her European journey, treating audiences to shows at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome in the Netherlands, Dublin’s 3Arena in Ireland, and the Olympia in Paris, France.

Expressing her excitement about these surprise shows, Del Rey shared, “I love Europe and after playing Glastonbury, I have decided to play a few more shows in various countries around my Hyde Park Show in London on July 9th. Today, I am announcing shows in Amsterdam on July 4th, Dublin on July 7th, and Paris on July 10th. I look forward to seeing you all.”

Despite her incredible talent and worldwide fame, Lana Del Rey‘s Glastonbury performance faced some challenges. Due to her delayed start, the set was unfortunately curtailed by a curfew, leaving fans craving more of her captivating music. Recognizing the impact of her tardiness, Del Rey openly addressed the audience, saying, “I was so fucking late that I am about to rush this set today. If they cut power, they cut power. I’m super fucking sorry. My hair takes so long to do. I love you to death. Let’s keep on running the set as it’s supposed to go.” Despite the time constraints, Del Rey’s performance left a lasting impression, further fueling the anticipation for her upcoming shows.

In addition to her European tour, Lana Del Rey has a packed schedule with several North American festival slots lined up. Fans can catch her captivating performances at Festival d’ete in Quebec, Canada, on July 15, followed by appearances at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois, on August 6, Outside Lands in San Francisco, California, on August 12, and All Things Go in Columbia, Maryland, on October 1.
