In This Moment Announce Tours With Motionless In White, I See Stars & More

Two new tours from the In This Moment camp have been revealed earlier today.

Excitingly, In This Moment and Motionless In White are teaming up again, for the second instalment of their Dark Horizon Tour. In April and May, the two bands will be playing shows together with support from Kim Dracula & Mike’s Dead, including the rescheduled dates for Houston, which was cancelled on the first leg of the tour. In addition, In This Moment have also announced another big tour surrounding the release of their 2023 album GODMODE. In April and May, surrounding the shows with Motionless In White, In This Moment will be playing big shows again with Kim Dracula and Mike’s Dead. One (awesome) addition to the GODMODE tour line-up is I See Stars, who made a surprise comeback last year with 4 new singles after years of inactivity.

In This Moment Unveil Mesmerizing Cover Of Björk’s ‘Army Of Me’

Grammy-nominated band In This Moment have taken fans by storm with an enthralling cover of Björk’s iconic track Army Of Me. This reworked rendition is a sneak peek into their highly anticipated GODMODE album, set to release on October 27th via BMG. Following the album’s lead single, The Purge, and its emphatic title track, fans have been eagerly awaiting more musical magic from the band.

Maria Brink, the vocalist of In This Moment, shared her inspiration for the cover, saying, “I was a teenager when I first got into Björk. I was mesmerized by her. She has a really inspiring energy to a lot of her stuff, an enlightening feeling. She’s just so innovative and groundbreaking and inspiring and magical.” Guitarist Chris Howorth added, “Maria played me three different Björk songs to see which I thought would be the best. This was the one. I didn’t know it was gonna come out as cool as it is. It’s so rockin’.”

Fans can experience this new track via the visualizer and look forward to GODMODE, the successor to the band’s 2020 album Mother, which will also feature a collaboration with Spencer Charnas, the vocalist of Ice Nine Kills.

In This Moment Unveil Title Track ‘GODMODE’ From Upcoming Album

Prepare for a sonic journey as In This Moment dropped the curtain on the title track for the upcoming album GODMODE. Anticipation has been building since the release of their lead single The Purge. The album is set to arrive on October 27th.

Vocalist Maria Brink shares insight into the creative synergy with guitarist Chris Howorth, which birthed the powerful and tribal feel of GODMODE:

“The lyrics came from feeling powerful and tribal and entrancing. The fact that Chris gets me so much that I can literally send him a voicemail and he sends it back to me in music form, shows how in tune we are. It’s been a long time since I screamed on an entire verse for a song. I wanted to release a bunch of stuff and it felt visceral.”
