Universal Studios’ Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster, a staple for thrill-seekers and music lovers, is officially closing.

The iconic ride allowed fans to customize their soundtrack, with My Chemical Romance’s Welcome to the Black Parade being a standout favorite.

For many, it was the perfect blend of adrenaline and emo nostalgia. The closure marks the end of an era, with fans flocking to experience the ride and its music one last time.

Universal Studios is retiring the attraction in September 2025 to make way for future experiences, but the legacy of its unique playlist, especially for My Chem fans, won’t be forgotten.

Don’t miss your chance to relive those moments before it’s gone forever.
