In an exciting update for fans, Dayseeker have just released their rendition of Evanescence’s timeless single My Immortal. This cover comes ahead of their anticipated acoustic album, Replica, set to digitally debut on April 19th, 2024.

This release marks a significant moment for the band. Vocalist Rory Rodriguez shared his personal connection to the song, noting, “My Immortal is a song I’ve loved dearly since I first heard it in high school. I truly always wanted to cover it but the timing didn’t feel right until we started this album. It’s easily my favorite cover we’ve ever done.”

Rodriguez also expressed his enthusiasm for Replica, stating, “Replica is one of our favorite releases to date. It completely shows a new side to our band and the kind of music we’re capable of creating.” This cover not only showcases Dayseeker‘s versatility but also pays homage to a song that has touched many.

Fans of Dayseeker and Evanescence alike will find this cover a fitting tribute, blending Dayseeker’s unique sound with the haunting beauty of My Immortal.

My Immortal is taken off of Evanescence’s 2003 record Fallen, of which they released a deluxe reissue last year.
