Chiodos Kick Off New Era With First New Song In 12 Years ‘TAPDAT’
Post-hardcore pioneers Chiodos have officially launched a brand new chapter in their career by signing to SharpTone Records and releasing their first piece of original music in 12 years, titled TAPDAT.
The technical, bruising, and melodically compelling single marks the band’s first new release since their 2014 full-length album, Devil. Following their 2024 reunion and extensive touring to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal debut All’s Well That Ends Well, frontman Craig Owens returned to build out the world of Chiodos with renewed focus.
Owens shared that the experimental track represents a return to the band’s original ethos and marks the first step in a story he has been eager to tell for over a decade.
To celebrate the release, Chiodos will hit the road at the end of the month for an upcoming tour with support from 156/silence, sace6, and Second Harbour.
