Alt-pop icons All Time Low and hard rock powerhouses I Prevail have joined forces for their explosive new single, Hate This Song. The unexpected collaboration between the two bands has resulted in a genre-blurring track that is now available across all major digital streaming platforms.

With All Time Low known for their infectious hooks and I Prevail celebrated for their heavier, emotionally charged sound, Hate This Song showcases a unique blend of both worlds. The single marks a bold departure from the typical sound of each band while still holding onto the core elements that have made them fan favourites.

All Time Low’s frontman, Alex Gaskarth, shared the origins of the song and how the collaboration came to be. “Hate This Song has been waiting patiently in the wings since the release of our last full-length Tell Me I’m Alive,” he said. “It was an opportunity to explore something kind of cheeky and different with a band we have a ton of respect for at the top of their game. The I Prevail guys brought their signature weight to the song and transformed it into something wonderfully unexpected.”

I Prevail’s vocalist, Eric Vanlerberghe, echoed the excitement, saying, “A while back we were hit up by this little band called All Time Low. They sent us a track that they wrote and asked if we could spice it up a bit. We said absolutely and went to work. So happy to have this track out — finally — and to be the first ones to put a blast beat on an ATL song.”

The collaboration is a meeting of two distinct styles: All Time Low’s catchy pop-punk melodies are complemented by I Prevail’s intense, metalcore-inspired energy.

As a crossover between alt-pop and hard rock, Hate This Song is set to make waves in both fan communities, while also reaching new listeners drawn to the collaboration. This marks the first official collaboration between All Time Low and I Prevail, but with the success of Hate This Song, it’s clear that their combined forces have created something truly special.
