A24 Shares First-Look Photo From Ti West’s ‘MaXXXine’ Starring Mia Goth & Halsey

Filming has officially started on Ti West‘s highly anticipated horror sequel, MaXXXine, which is set to bring Mia Goth‘s character into the 1980s. A24, the studio behind the movie, has shared a first-look photo from the upcoming installment, which features Goth alongside co-star Halsey. The picture is already generating excitement among horror fans, who are eagerly awaiting the release of the latest addition to West‘s X trilogy.

In addition to Goth and Halsey, the film’s cast includes Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon. This impressive roster of actors promises to deliver a thrilling and memorable movie experience.

According to the official synopsis, MaXXXine picks up after the events of X, which saw Maxine become the sole survivor. In the upcoming movie, Maxine is now a young woman who is determined to make it as an actress in 1980s Los Angeles.

Mia Goth recently spoke to Variety about her role in the film. “It’s the best script of the three by far. It’s going to be the best movie of the three,” she said. “Maxine has gone through so much at this point. So when we find her in this new world, she’s just a force to be reckoned with and she goes through some pretty wild adventures.”
