It has been confirmed that in Marvel’s Phase Four, we are going to get an original series of Loki, WandaVision, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but there are now rumours that Disney+ might be working on an original live-action Spider-Man TV series as well.

Mikey Sutton from Bounding Into Comics mentioned that Sony and Marvel Studios will collaborate to make a Spider-Man 2099 show for Disney+.

However, he also shared that this Spider-Man will not be Peter Parker.

Spider-Man 2099, known as Miguel O’Hara, originated in Marvel Comics in 1992 that Stan Lee and Steve Ditko called a futuristic re-imagining of the original Spider-Man.

He is a brilliant geneticist living in Nueva York in the year 2099 and, when trying to recreate the abilities of the original Spider-Man in other people, suffers a related accident that causes half of his DNA to be re-written with a spider’s genetic code.

Stay tuned for more information about this rumoured TV show and let us know if you would be excited for this!
