Photo Review: State Champs @ Melkweg, Amsterdam

Last Sunday, we attended what will go down in history as the most chaotic show we’ve ever witnessed. State Champs had a lot of bad luck, as their tour van broke down the night before, making their arrival at the venue on Sunday very late.
As a result, the doors opened a tad later and both opening acts Northbound and As It Is played only a few fraction of their full prepared set.
As if this wasn’t enough, the venue Melkweg had three scheduled events that night, all of which were either sold out or nearing selling out. The entire entry was blocked by a clusterfuck of approximately 2.500 people who had no clue where the lines were for which event. We got in 10 minutes before State Champs kicked off their set and were able to make some photos. Excuse us in advance for the lack of quality, as it was rushed, chaotic and difficult with no barrier.
