Rise Against are currently on the road in Europe to support the release of their brutally honest new record “Wolves”.  Of course, while on the road, a stop in Amsterdam, The Netherlands could not be left out. For these massive European shows, Rise Against took with them another band who have recently released a brand new record: Sleeping With Sirens.
Armed with a new record deal at Warner Bros Records and a brand new, poppier record “Gossip”, Sleeping With Sirens had the tough job to warm the crowd up before Rise Against took the stage.

Sleeping With Sirens’ set consisted off of tracks taken from the band’s entire discography, going all the way back to their 2011 record “Let’s Cheers To This”. These tracks were delivered with unwavering confidence and undeniable passion. Sleeping With Sirens have truly grown as musicians and entertainers over the years, and the support spot for such a massive band as Rise Against is just the latest of evidences to back up that claim.

Rise Against’s focus laid with tracks off of the new record “Wolves”, while of course many fan favourites were also played in front of the 5.000 fans crowd. Rise Against brought along massive screens, megaphones and videography interludes, making sure the crowd was entertained from moment one onwards. The crowd was properly involved into the band’s performance and fists, arms and even people were raised up in the air.
Rise Against have once again shown Amsterdam why they are as big as they are, leaving people anxious for the band’s return, even though that could be a few years again.

Luckily, we’ll have photos of the performance to remind you of the stellar evening we all experienced, and of course, if you weren’t there, get a glimpse off of the performance that we all experienced that night.
