Twenty One Pilots ‘Scaled And Icy’ Artwork Was Originally Created For Something Else

Twenty One Pilots announced their upcoming record ‘Scaled And Icy’ last week, which is going to be released on the 21st of May.

Tyler Joseph revealed that the dragon, which is seen in the artwork for the record, is called Trash.

Now, the designer of the artwork, Brandon Rike, who previously teamed up with the band for both ‘Blurryface’ and ‘Trench’, has revealed what Trash the dragon was originally created for.

Apparently, the picture was created for a children’s book from the 1860s by Walter Crane and is now public domain.

He revealed this in a reply to one of the comments under his Instagram post about the artwork.
