It’s that time of the year again, the nominees for the MTV European Music Awards have been revealed and we must say that it’s looking good for the alternative music scene.

Twenty One Pilots are nominated for two awards, "Best Alternative" and for the "Best World Stage" with their performance at Lollapalooza in Paris.

Billie Eilish is nominated for 5 awards, "Best Song" (bad guy), "Best Video" (bad guy), "Best New", "Biggest Fans" and "Best Push".

Halsey is also nominated for a total of 3 categories, "Best Collaboration" with BTS’ track "Boy With Luv", "Best Pop" and "Best Look"

Furthermore, we have Green Day, Imagine Dragons, Liam Gallagher, Panic! At The Disco and The 1975 nominated for "Best Rock", Muse for "Best World Stage" and The 1975 once again for "Best World Stage", also with their performance at Lollapalooza Paris.
