My Chemical Romance began their Long Live The Black Parade North American stadium tour on July 11, 2025, at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. They played their longest show ever, full of big, dramatic moments. The performance mixed their 2006 album The Black Parade in full with other popular songs, all with a flashy stage setup that excited fans.

The band, led by singer Gerard Way, wore updated versions of their classic marching band outfits from the The Black Parade era. Their show felt like a play, with fun acts like a fake election where fans voted to punish characters and a part where Gerard Way was taken by a clown. Songs like Mama, Cancer, and Sleep had new parts, with Kayleigh Goldsworthy adding violin to some tracks for a fresh sound.

They split their set into two parts: first, they played all of The Black Parade, including changed versions of Mama, Cancer, and Sleep. Then, they moved to a smaller stage for songs like I’m Not Okay (I Promise), Helena, and Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na), getting closer to the crowd for a strong connection.

Mikey Way posted on Instagram that their tour will have twists and turns, hinting that each show might be a bit different.

Fans are excited to see how the dramatic parts and song choices might change in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and Tampa. This makes every show feel special.

The Seattle show, with Violent Femmes opening, set a big start for the 11-date tour, which has sold 365,000 tickets. With guests like Alice Cooper, Evanescence, and Devo at some shows, My Chemical Romance’s Long Live The Black Parade tour is a huge event for fans of music and theater.
