Gerard Way & The Interrupters' New Project, The Mock-Ups

Gerard Way and members of The Interrupters have joined forces for a new musical project called The Mock-Ups. Their debut track, I Wanna Know Your Name, is now available on streaming platforms, released by Gauzy Records. The song features Gerard Way on vocals and bass, Aimee Interrupter on backing vocals, Kevin Bivona on keys and production, Jesse Bivona on drums, and Michael Schulz on guitar. The track was engineered by Doug McKean, a longtime collaborator of My Chemical Romance, who passed away in 2022.

Meanwhile, My Chemical Romance recently completed their Long Live…The Black Parade stadium tour in the US, performing their iconic album in full. The Interrupters are gearing up for appearances at the Punk In The Park festival in Los Angeles in October and the Warped Tour in Orlando, Florida, in November.
