Gerard Way Joins Frozen Soul On New Song ‘No Place Of Warmth’
Gerard Way has collaborated with the death metal group Frozen Soul on a brand-new song.
The track is called No Place Of Warmth and serves as the title track for the band’s upcoming album. The song features a heavy vocal performance from Gerard Way, who joins Frozen Soul to create a dark and powerful sound.
The band’s vocalist, Chad Green, mentioned that he became friends with Gerard Way a few years ago. After learning about his interest in metal music, the band invited him to perform on the track. This is not the first time Gerard Way has worked within the metal genre, as he previously collaborated with Matt Heafy from Trivium on the project Ibaraki for the song Rōnin, which also featured Ihsahn.
The new album, also titled No Place Of Warmth, is scheduled to be released on May 8th through Century Media Records. The band has also shared another preview of the record with a short and fast song called Absolute Zero.
According to Chad Green, the songs on the new record are meant to give listeners strength and power to deal with daily challenges.
