In several interviews, Melanie Martinez was asked about the progress of her sophomore record, and everytime she got a bit closer to finishing it.
In her own update which she shared via Twitter she says once again that the album is nearing completion.
In addition, she finished directing two new music videos, which will be edited once she gets back from the upcoming US tour.
Melanie Martinez has always said that she wants every track on the album to be accompanied by a music video before she moves on to the next album.
With these two, we’re getting closer to that to happen!
She also hopes to release the new album early next year, so there’s that!
