Patrick Stump Saves Motion City Soundtrack’s Set At Minnesota Yacht Club Festival
Patrick Stump, frontman of Fall Out Boy, stole the show at the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival by stepping in for Motion City Soundtrack’s lead singer, Justin Pierre, who was sidelined by lung issues from asthma and illness.
Stump performed seven songs, Attractive Today, Perfect Teeth, My Favorite Accident, When You’re Around, L.G. FUAD, The Future Freaks Me Out, and Everything Is Alright, showcasing his vocal range and passion as a longtime fan of the band.
With Justin Pierre under doctor’s orders for bed rest, Patrick Stump joined other guest singers, Ber, Nadi McGill, and Kathy Callahan from Gully Boys, to keep Motion City Soundtrack’s set alive. Fans raved about Patrick Stump’s performance, calling it a festival highlight.
He later headlined with Fall Out Boy, proving his versatility. Patrick Stump also appears on Motion City Soundtrack’s upcoming album, The Same Old Wasted Wonderful World, on the track Particle Physics.
